LOUIS VUITTON (MEN’S) x SPRING/SUMMER 2011 AD CAMPAIGN
Louis Vuitton’s ad campaign for their Spring/Summer 2011 collection is out. It stars Taiwanese actor Godfrey Gao and Doug Pickett, photographed by Cédric Buchet.
The campaign also features bags from the S/S 2011 Menswear Collection: Monogram Impression Sac Weekend, Utah Cabas Zippe, and Damier Graphite Elvis.

Designed by Jason Phillips and manufactured by Phillips Collection, these Louis Vuitton sofas are available in classic LV prints, Murakami and Classic Monogram.
The limited-edition collection is made from repurposed fabrics and can be supplemented with cushions for each model.

French luxury designer Louis Vuitton has released their new 4Motion Performance Eyewear frames this week.
The 4Motion line consists of styles for both water and snow sports with the frame adjusting to the wearer.
The 4Motion line is exclusively available from Louis Vuitton stores worldwide in yellow, black, blue and red.

EDUN x LOUIS VUITTON….LADIES, YOU MIGHT LIKE THIS!!
Bono and his wife did not only appear in the latest Louis Vuitton campaign, now the French luxury brand and their own eco friendly brand Edun have collaborated on the Keepall 45 Travel Duffle Bag ($4,900).
All proceeds of the sale of the bags go to the Conservation Cotton Initiative, a company that helps the development of eco-friendly and organic cotton farming.
LOUIS VUITTON VINTAGE PIECES AT CHRISTIE’S
On September 28th Christie’s in London will offer an incredible collection of vintage Louis Vuitton luggage during its Interiors: Style & Spirit sale.
Over 20 original pieces from the famed French luxury goods house dating from the late 19th century to the 1940s will go on the block.
Each timelessly luxurious item tells a different story, with many still sporting vintage travel labels from trips with their original owners on steamships and to exotic locales, while others feature hand-painted monograms and colorful custom stripes.
With an inviting estimate range of £400 to £6,000 (about $9,000), this is a perfect opportunity to add to or begin that vintage luggage collection.
IF THE “DEVIL” WEARS “PRADA” I GUESS THE “VIRGIN MARY” CAN WEAR “LOUIS VUITTON”, HUH??
The devil may well wear Prada, but at a biennial exhibition of sacred art in Italy, a statue of the Virgin Mary is donning Louis Vuitton.
The veil traditionally covering the Virgin’s head bears the French luxury brand’s trademark “LV” logo in golden letters.
Francesco De Molfetta, 31, said he created the work to “denounce a society based on the cult of appearance through the use of a brand that represents the search for ephemeral happiness.”
“This new way of interpreting sacred art is along the lines of the famous work presented (in 1999 in Venice by Maurizio) Cattelan that showed a wax icon depicting Pope John Paul II being crushed by a meteor,” the curator of the biennial Giuseppe Bacci told Il Centro.
“It is a way to hit the visitors’ unconscious,” he added.
The biennial is held at Isola del Gran Sasso in the central region of Abruzzo.
Milan native De Molfetta’s works have been on show in Tokyo, at the T20 contemporary art gallery of Murcia Spain and at the museum of Besancon in France.
