PHARRELL x “ECOLOGY OF LOVE” [SHORT FILM]
You might remember seeing snippets of this in 2004, but now we get the film in it’s entirety. The flick stars Pharrell Williams & even includes the Neptunes remix of Sade’s classic tune, “By Your Side”.
A stylish romance centering on a brokenhearted urbanite who, only after breaking down and getting stranded in the desert, unearths the resources to woo a French-speaking woman at a lonely motel.
TREY SONGZ MAKES ACTING DEBUT IN “TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: 3D”
Trey Songz will be putting down the mic and picking up a script, as the R&B singer will make his acting debut in the 3D installment of the famous “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” franchise. Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the crooner will hold a lead role as the boyfriend of the previously-cast Alexandra Daddario in the film, which will be released on October 5, 2012 by Lionsgate.
Chainsaw will be Songz’s big screen acting debut — the part allows the budding thespian to be physical, romantic and heroic.
John Luessenhop (Takers) is directing the pic, which was written by Adam Marcus and Debra Sullivan. Kirsten Elms and Luessenhop did polish work on it.
The horror movie shoots later this month in Shreveport, Louisiana. Producers are hoping to not only reboot the franchise but to also to break a group of fresh-faced actors.

BATMAN – THE DARK KNIGHT RISES : BANE (PREVIEW)
Growing up, I’ve always been a fan of Batman….of course as we all know 1 of the best movies was the 1st & the previous one with the late, great Heath Ledger but from the looks of things, this new one will be added to that collection. Even though this one doesn’t come out until next year, here’s a little bit of info on it below….
Warner Brothers has kicked off the long viral campaign for their highly anticipated next Batman movie, “The Dark Knight Rises,” with a mysterious link and photo revelation of Tom Hardy as evil villain Bane. A Twitter handle called @TheFireRises links users to the new site, which is all black and contains a short, epic soundtrack. A subsection of the site allows users to upload their own images to a collage that is slowly forming the Hardy/Bane photo.
The image, it goes without saying, is both disturbing and very promising.
Director Christopher Nolan’s final chapter of the saga (though he’ll stay on to produce future films) is low on plot details, but rich on stars. Christian Bale, of course, returns as Bruce Wayne/Batman, and he’ll have Gary Oldman back as Commissioner Gordon on his side. Now joining them will be Hardy’s “Inception” cast mate Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake, a special assignment cop.
Anne Hathaway joins the cast as Selena Kyle/Catwoman, and another “Inception” vet, Marion Cotillard, will play Miranda Tate, a Wayne Enterprises employee. Josh Pence, body double from “The Social Network,” will show his face as young Ra’s al Ghul.

X-MEN “FIRST CLASS” (TRAILER)
This looks a lot better than the first trailer. In this film we finally get a first look at Havoc played by Zoë Kravitz (who, alongside her mom Lisa Bonet, CanGeddit) and more. June 3rd is the date.

THE HANGOVER II (EXTENDED MOVIE TRAILER)
This movie will be epic, in the Hangover Part II, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu’s wedding. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don’t always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can’t even be imagined.
This film is slated to be released on May 26th 2011.

The Wolfpack is BAAAAAAACCCCCKKKKK!!! I posted the trailer previously on this site, but I figured…hell, I have the official movie poster for it so why not re-post it again?? All I can say is from what I’ve seen so far this movie looks just as funny as the 1st was. But my questions are 1) Why does the guy have Mike Tyson’s tattoo on his face?? 2)What happened to the 4th guy?? And 3) Why does the monkey have to do with anything??? But I guess, only time will tell.
